Sorry I have been MIA!

Well, it has been a while since I have written. Andrea made 3 weeks old last Saturday. Time has really gone by fast. We are getting adjusted to a new schedule and learning to function on less sleep. :) She is a really good baby. Here are a few pictures of her. I'll try to write more later.

34 weeks...Where has time gone?

It is hard to believe that I am 34 weeks today. Only 6 more weeks until your due date. The time has gone by so quickly. Daddy and I stayed up watching you move around last night. It is amazing!!! You get more active everyday.
I have been working in my classroom for the past few weeks. Yes, it is almost time for me to go back to work. The good thing is that I will only be there about 3 weeks. Then I will take 8 weeks off to be at home with you. I can't wait!!!
I found someone to keep you when I have to go back to work. Her name is Mrs. Joan. She lives across the street from my work. I am so glad that she said she would keep you. You won't ever be too far away from me. :)
Well, I need to go. Daddy and I are going to Aunt Kim and Uncle Stephen's for dinner. :)

Wonderful week!

It's been very busy around here. We are trying hard to prepare (as much as possible) for your arrival. Tuesday we had a doctor appointment. She said that all is looking good. Your heart beat sounds great! This is the last monthly visit. We now have to go every 2 weeks.
Today, we had your baby shower. There were lots of family and friends here to shower us with gifts. You got so many wonderful things that I can't wait for you to use. I have been playing with all of it since everyone left. You are probably going to be a little spoiled. I can already tell that there are lots of people that love you very much. Daddy and I are getting more and more excited by the day. Only 9 more weeks til your due date. And the weeks have been flying by.

Doctor Update

Well, we had a doctor appointment today. She said that all is looking great!!! You are weighing in at 1lb. 15oz. Right on schedule! Once again, you were not shy in showing us your gender. You are very proud to be a girl!! You are kicking harder everyday. You woke me at 2:30am, and I didn't go back to bed until after 5am. You were moving and kicking like crazy. Mawmaw Seefield says "she's getting big and strong". Terry laughs when she says that. Those that know my mother's voice can probably hear her sayig it with her very southern accent. HAHA :)

Kicks

Friday, May 23rd I felt you kick on the outside for the first time. I was at an inservice for our new reading series, and it happened. You kicked so hard!!! Aunt Dezzie felt it too. I am sure everyone in the inservice was wondering why she was rubbing on my stomach, but oh well. I have been trying to get you to kick Daddy, but everytime Daddy would feel, you would stop. Finally, this morning, you kicked Daddy's hand. He was so excited!!! You have been kicking a lot this weekend. You are getting big and strong.
Oh, and I found one thing that you DO NOT like. Strawberry ICEE is not for you. I drank one on the way to the camp Friday, and about half way there, we had to pull over on the side of the road. I was so sick!!!! So, note to self...no more strawberry ICEE!!!!

Baby Shower

I had a great baby shower today. I got a lot of fun stuff. I can't wait for you to be here to play with it all. Mawmaw Seefield came to the shower with me. She had a lot of fun and got to meet all the people that I work with. Aunt Dezzie did a great job putting on the shower for me. Thanks Aunt Dezzie!!!
